Possible podcast

Exciting news for podcast lovers, and I am truly one of those! It has been announced that Reid Hoffman and Aria Finger, two prominent figures in the tech and nonprofit worlds, are have launched a podcast together called Possible. Even more exciting is the news that their first guest could be none other than Trevor Noah, the host of The Daily Show.

As a fan of all three, I couldn't be more thrilled about the possibility of hearing their unique perspectives on a range of topics. Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn and a partner at Greylock Partners, has a wealth of knowledge about technology and entrepreneurship. Finger, the ex-CEO of DoSomething.org, has a deep understanding of social impact and nonprofit work. And Noah, a comedian and political commentator, is known for his sharp wit and incisive analysis.

In the podcast, Trevor Noah shared some thought-provoking insights on the impact of technology on the workforce. One quote in particular stood out to me: "You are not afraid of AI, you’re afraid of the companies and the employers who are going to look for any excuse to get rid of somebody and replace that person with either AI or with one person who can do multiple jobs." This statement highlights the need for responsible development and implementation of new technologies, and the importance of considering the impact on workers as we move forward.

Noah also shared a quote that I loved: "So if everything fell our way, I would hope we live in a world where not everything is about do, but everything could be about be." This sentiment speaks to the importance of finding balance in our lives and prioritizing our well-being in a world that often values productivity above all else.

There is so much more that I strongly recommend everyone should listen to this episode (https://lnkd.in/gCUtn7cK) and I can't wait to see what other insights and thought-provoking discussions these duos have in store for us.
