I am quite impressed by the edX business model and I have actually signed up a few classes. Being an ngo is certainly the best way to go and making the software as open source would help to scale up and create impact which serves the purpose!
Major take away from Professor Anant Agarwal for me is he stated that people need to learn how to learn online and also teach online! I totally agree with that as the future of education will be more towards online and self initiated. I am hoping Hong Kong would finally evolved to recognise this.
